लंदन. यौन उत्‍पीड़न के आरोप में फंसे पत्रकार और कारोबारी तरुण तेजपाल शुक्रवार को गोवा पुलिस के सामने पेश होंगे। उन्‍होंने गोवा पुलिस से शनिवार तक का वक्‍त मांगा, लेकिन गोवा पुलिस ने उन्हें मोहलत देने के इंकार कर दिया। तेजपाल ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में दायर अग्रिम जमानत याचिका भी वापस ले ली है। साथ ही उन्होंने पुलिस के अल्‍टीमेटम के बावजूद शुक्रवार को पेश होने से इंकार कर दिया था।
खोजी पत्रकारिता और अपने नॉवेल के दम पर पूरे देश में अलग मुकाम हासिल करने वाले तरुण तेजपाल पर यौन उत्‍पीड़न के आरोप लगने से सभी हैरान हैं, लेकिन जो लोग उनके नॉवेल पढ़ते रहे हैं, शायद वह इतने हैरान नहीं हैं।

तरुण तेजपाल ने पत्रकारिता के क्षेत्र में जितनी संजीदगी के साथ छाप छोड़ी, उससे कहीं ज्‍यादा बिंदास उपन्‍यास उन्‍होंने लिखे। 'सेक्‍स' उनके विचारों पर हमेशा से हावी रहा। एक बार गोवा में उन्‍होंने कार्यक्रम में शामिल लोगों से कहा था, 'आप गोवा में हैं तो खूब खाइए, पीजिए और जिसके साथ चाहें सोइ जाइए।'
2010 में प्रकाशित उपन्‍यास 'द स्‍टोरी ऑफ माय एसेसिन' में तरुण तेजपाल ने लिखा- 'पॉवर दुनिया का इंजन है, तो सेक्‍स और पैसा ऑयल व ल्‍यूबरिकेंट के समान हैं। भगवान एक ऐसी गोली है, जिसका अविष्‍कार उन लोगों ने किया है, जो पैसा और पॉवर रखते हैं, सेक्‍स का सुख भागते हैं। भगवान के नाम की गोली उन लोगों को दी जाती है, जिनके पास कुछ नहीं होता।

आरुषि-हेमराज मर्डर केस LIVE: सीबीआई कोर्ट ने सुनाई तलवार दंपती को उम्र कैद की सजा.

गाजियाबाद. बेटी आरुषि और नौकर हेमराज की हत्‍या करने के दोषी तलवार दंपती को सीबीआई की विशेष कोर्ट ने उम्र कैद की सजा सुनाई है। केस में फैसला लिखा जा चुका है। 

केस में सीबीआई की ओर से तलवार दंपति के लिए फांसी की सजा की मांग की गई थी। सीबीआई ने अपनी दलील में कहा था कि तलवार दंपति ने केवल आरुषि और हेमराज की न केवल हत्या की गई बल्कि उनके शवों को ब्लेड से काटा भी, इसलिए यह गंभीरतम अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है। लिहाजा उन्हें फांसी की सजा दी जानी चाहिए। वहीं बचाव पक्ष ने कहा कि तलवार दंपति ने अपनी बेटी खोई है, इसके अलावा तलवार परिवार का कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड नहीं है। लिहाजा उनकी सजा में नरमी बरती जाए। 

तलवार दंपती इस सुनवाई के दौरान कोर्टरूम में मौजूद हैं। सीबीआई ने दलील दी कि इस दंपती ने खून तो किया ही, सबूत मिटाने की भी हर संभव कोशिश की। इसलिए नूपुर और राजेश तलवार को फांसी से कम सजा नहीं होनी चाहिए। (जानिए, क्‍यों कातिल करार दिए गए नुपुर और राजेश तलवार)

  चुनाव : मैं पहली बार ऐसे चुनाव देख रहा हूं, चुनाव विधायक नहीं लड़ रहे हैं, राजनीतिक दल नहीं लड़ रहे हैं। यह चुनाव जनता-जनार्दन लड़ रही है। इमरजेंसी के समय देश के नेता जेल में थे, इंदिराजी ने देश को जेलखाना बना दिया था। मुझे याद है, वह चुनाव भी जनता ने लड़ा था। कांग्रेस को उत्तर भारत से साफ कर दिया था।

मैं सबसे पहले भाजपा की ओर से आप सभी से माफी मांगना चाहता हूं। मुझे बताया गया कि भीड़ अधिक होने के कारण स्टेडियम के गेट बंद करने पड़े। मैं अभी रास्ते में आ रहा था तो हजारों लोग स्टेडियम के बाहर खड़े थे। उन्हें अंदर आने का मौका नहीं मिला। मैं उनसे क्षमता मांगता हूं। मैं कोटावासियों को कहता हूं कि स्टेडियम में जगह हो या न हो, मेरे दिल में आपके लिए भरपूर जगह है।

नई दिल्‍ली. कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव के सिलसिले में दिल्‍ली के आंबेडकर नगर में आयोजित रैली को संबोधित करते हुए शीला दीक्षित की तारीफ की और बीजेपी पर निशाना साधा। राहुल की इस रैली के दौरान कुर्सियां खाली नजर आईं, कई लोग भाषण शुरू होने से पहले ही जाने लगे।
